Black & White Alien Abduction Ceramic Tumbler

This tumbler is hand-built and decorated using the Sgraffito technique. From my Alien Abduction collection. The back reads "The Truth is Out there". The inside is a warm olive green. Tumblers are great for small drinks, candle holders, pencil holders, toothbrush holders, etc. The options are almost endless.

Sgraffito is a technique where potters can put a layer of glaze or slip on a piece of pottery, let it dry, then use a pottery carving tool to scratch at it to show the base layer of color. Sgraffito derives from an Italian word meaning “to scratch”.
