We were Together Ceramic Mug
"We were together. I forget the rest." That is all that matters, isn't it? Just being together, and THAT being what matters. (Quote by Walt Whitman)
This small mug, using the sgraffito method has friends dancing at sunset and Helen Keller's quote that says "Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much." The wheel-thrown mug is black and white and the inside is a fun, cheery orange. Two interlocking puzzle pieces are painted on the bottom of this piece of pottery.

Sgraffito is a technique where potters can put a layer of glaze or slip on a piece of pottery, let it dry, then use a pottery carving tool to scratch at it to show the base layer of color. Sgraffito derives from an Italian word meaning “to scratch”.
